This was a time of heroes. Boxers, gangsters, cow boys, saints and people riding horses with panache.

Most of them isolated in their painting, contained within a world where they seem to be trying to live up to the expectations of their self imposed roles. Most of them were small formats that suited the intimate relationship the characters are looking for in their dialogue with the spectator.
